December 2, 1989 Flyer for the Underground 10th anniversary party,
staged at Bert’s Second Story, a vintage furniture store upstairs in the building that later became the Arts Factory.
The Underground was located on Maryland Parkway and was Vegas’ premier
store selling punk music. Wayne Coyner, who owned the Underground,
welcomed other creative people than punks into his orbit.
For the anniversary party, he invited 100 or so people.
Bert’s had previously hosted illegal punk shows.
